Ruthie joined us in July 2016 from her first home at Caromont Farm when she was just about 4 months old. She was a special delivery from Gail Hobbs-Page herself and came with several hours of much-needed goat farmer tutorials.

Ruthie is our big bruiser, but also a huge scaredy-cat! She's afraid of Chewie, and our broom, and pretty much anything new around the farm. She might be our biggest goat, but she lets Tootie bully her... a lot. Her distinctive markings include her dark brown knee socks and belly - she looks like she's been dipped in chocolate! She also doesn't open her mouth to bleat very often, she mostly sounds like a cow.  Her hobbies include rubbing her face all over your head and trying to eat peanuts through your pockets.
